Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 38-year-old Puna man who was reported missing.

Shayne Yoshi Kalani Kobayashi of Pahoa is described as part Hawaiian, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 212 pounds with brown eyes, medium-length black hair and a mustache and goatee, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He was last seen at his Pahoa residence on Dec. 11.
